Requesting Signature and Avatar

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. Not sure if this is in the right section, but if it isn't someone can move it.

I really do like my current signature and avatar, although the text is pretty hard to read in the signature.

I like the style of it, the whole Tibarn as the main focus with the brownish /reddish fade out from his wings. The text is hard to read (it says "The King of Phoenicis has arrived", for those of you unable to read it.)

So what I'd like to do is request another matching sig and avy.

I'd like the same style as my current sig and avy, the one I described earlier, or something similar. I don't like vivid colors that "pop." Bluish, browninsh (but not TOO brown, take my current sig as an example of a GOOD brown), or maybe greenish (once again, not too much) are all good colors.

I'd like it to say "The king of Phoenicis has arrived" on the sig somewhere, with "Tibarn" on the avatar.

I'll give out reps and gold to anyone that makes me one, with a bonus for whoever's I choose. If you have any questions about layout, want more pictures, want more details, etc. etc. etc. just post.

Wow. I love it.

The only thing I would change is in the sig, I believe it says "Tibarn" on the left wing. Could you move it to the upper right hand corner and maybe make it a little clearer and like...not backwards or anything? (I'm a little obsessive xP)

Or just get rid of it altogether. Otherwise it's perfect.

Edit: Oh yeah, do you want credit for the sig and avy?

Oh here is one without the hidden name. I originally did it without because i thought it was rather tacky myself but then added it as an after thought but kept the other one just in case. Some people like the hidden name thing so i add it sometimes just in case.

Credit is always cool, although I used to do this for free without credit a few years back so i don't care much anymore. I just wanted to see if I could still do it haha, i've done nothing but vector and photo manipulations since those days.

Here's the one without. I kept the PSD so i can shove "Tibarn" in the corner for you to see too just give me a sec to whip open photoshop again. if this is good then here you go, lol.

It isn't too late for you to change the ending of the words "King," "Phoenicis," and "arrived" is it? They just look a little weird. Like a white outline or something, kinda sticks out. (The last couple letters.) If not, that's perfectly fine as well.

I'm not Photoshop savvy.

Yea that's an easy fix, i'll just pop 'er open and do that up.
I tend to ad slight borders when dealing with dark centers like that, but it's highly removable/changable. I'll post when it's fixed up for ya so just check back in a minute.

All right. I do think that the red will be a little too dark mixing with the blackish grey of the background in that area, but we'll see.

Don't change anything else though, I like it all.

The king is a bit dark but not too bad I don't think. I sharpened the color on the last 2 lines for legibility though. Other than that I think it's decently legible, give me thoughts and I can change if you think necessary.

Edit: Just noticed the JPEG rendering this run did slightly lighten it from it's PSD variant. Not terribly noticeable if you don't mind, lol.

I like the earlier one better; the one I have in my sig currently. I guess the only letter I have a problem with is the "D" in "arrived," I think it's too white and sticks out, but other than that it's perfect.

Don't worry about changing it, I can deal.

Alright, sounds good. I agree with the "D" however, that's the only thing that really bugged me too, lol. The rest blended nicely without me having to force blend but that D decided it'd be rebellious i suppose, haha.
