  Maybe Iunno, he just met some shady dood during his stay in Avon, maybe they were cellmates! turns out the dude is a fomor and has a way to restore Nuadha's arm, but it comes with a price, his youth image. Nuadha says why not, I'll need a replacement now that morrighan won't share her bed with me, and this arm just won't cut it.
  
  Then he got his arm back, gained some years and weight. There, the mystery of the new Nuadha has been resolved, it all revolves around sex as always!

  Yeah.. I was really perplexed as to why Nuadha would still have his arm, but I guess this makes the most sense.

  But they said this was going to be a sequel to mabinogi, not Heroes.

  This is what I thought as well, except that I keep hearing that Mabinogi 2 is supposed to be a sequel to Mabinogi, not Vindictus, and not a prequel. They could have made a mistake in the announcement, OR: Something happened that makes him get his arm back, also causing him to look more aged, maybe, or it's a mistaken translation and it's not really him but the "harvest god" people mentioned before. It could also be an image for a storyline for some sort of flashback. Maybe there's more than one "version" of him, if you will.
