Yeah k, sorry about my outburst.
I've been at this argument forever, especially on nexon forums, and I'm getting really sick of people reading too far into "potential meanings of technical terms" and really bending around what was said like smart asses. Most of them would do anything to come up with whatever they can to sound right all the way until the end. So I've been snapping at people lately whenever they came up with any theory at all. Really crabby about this subject.
I completely understand, the Nexon forums however, is like trying to quit drinking, yet you walk right into a bar. It's a natural landmine, which for a few seconds seem tame, until you take a few steps forward.
Anyways I'm interested in the development, even moreso why they pick the designs for the gods/goddess... and how the milletiants play into this.
In our Mabinogi, the Milletiant is the ultimate warrior, The Undying Blade. Given enough time and rebirths, they can gain infinite power, master all magic, melee, range, and alchemy... the ability to become a demi-god, the ability to steal other gods' power, even killing other gods is part of their arsenel (may just be referring to one milletiant in the storyline however).
The most important aspect of the Milletiant, rather is that they are
night invincible. They can never die... the best one can hope for against a Milletiant is to defeat them, tire them, or force them to give up... but can never truly kill a milletiant. Even if a body is mangled and destroyed, they will just migrate to a new body. The only way a milletiant can "die" is if they choose to leave Erinn for another system. That is why the gods fear and hate us, because we are the cutest most monstrous thing to ever walk in Erinn. The fomors, the Tuatha de Danons, the undead, hell, even the gods can not even hold a candle to what we are.
So I am wondering how Mabinogi II will take up on the Milletiant role in the game. =)
Will we still be milletiants, or will be a whole new race who reverie the milletiant heritage?
