If I can convince my development staff, that might be easily remedied.
We already have a HG:L server in the works, and thats way harder to do as we're doing custom patches.

They should be able to work backwards with that to identify the issue.
Everything was working fine (by nexon standards) before that maintenance, after the maintenance people got screwed over.

Nexon doesn't use version control software, they just receive the updates, and switch them out.
A few years ago they uploaded the source to a public FTP (Maplestory), and a few people downloaded, and they ended up resorting to blackmail and extortion (None of their threats were legal in the slightest).

Jesus what in blazes did Nexon blow up this time. I log to check and see if anything sold before I d/c'd last night and theres 2 channels and service is wonky. Sheesh, i need my bags back so i can start my new main on refine. Ah well another day i suppose, sucks this happened on a slow day though, i have nothing to do here - perfect time to refine DX.

Everyone please also file a ticket demanding compensation on top of them replacing lost items. Remember about lost time and services that were never received. With all the down time and unplayable time, Premium Services members should be compensated for those days that they never were able to use.
I know about their ToS and EULA and all that stuff, but as consumers, we still need to voice our demands clearly and ask for what is fair. If everyone just meekly accepts whatever nexon does, nothing will change. Eventually walking away from the game we love because of nexon's fails is going to be the biggest tragedy of all.
Oh and fyi ... at the moment you can't file a ticket bc nexon broke that part too haha ... so later on, eventually when the game does get fixed (they havent even taken it down yet), please file a ticket. Don't file it under general feedback bc you'll just get a canned response and they don't even read those. Technical help section might be better - anyone else wanna suggest?

and yes, you're supposed to sit quietly and wait. they're having an emergency maint in a little under an hour. chill out. they're working on it.
