I made a funny earlier today

To myself, really. Working in the meat department, I work with a lot of meat and prepare it in different ways. So today, I had to smoke some pepperoni to sell, and while I was putting the smoked sausages in the walking cooler, I thought to my self, "Pepperoni has 'Oni' in it. Hahah, that would be funny to see, a Pepper Oni", and when I got home, my extremely inside joke eventually grew and grew to the point where I did something I rarely ever do, and that's actually sketch what a "Pepper Oni" would look like.

So this is what I came up with.

Not bad if I say so myself, especially since I have practically zero talent when it comes to drawing. I know where there's a lot of work, examples being pose, shading, hands, proportions... and the list goes on.

I'll probably refine it a little bit more by doing something that I have literally no experience in by doing some line art over the sketch in Sai or something just to make it look neater, and maybe some color. But until then, this is what I got for a "Pepper Oni". An oni that has a pepper for a head. Creative, no?

Also, I was perplexed as to whether be true to traditional oni by giving him a loin cloth, or make it a little more original/scary by giving him a fundoshi, and this guy isn't exactly "small", if you know what I mean. And yes, that's grid paper, specifically the graph paper book I used for my trigonometry class in highschool. Amazing, ya?

It is, if you notice off to the side of the center horn, there's a faint outline of a horn that's curved to the left (our right) that I was originally going to have as the stem, but then I decided to have it curl to the back instead of to the side. And how'd you know it was a green bell pepper? It could have been a red bell pepper. D:
