Wood Boards

  What is the best way to get them?
  
  I have tried several methods, and still can't settle on one. I like the first method the best, but it's a problem to do it in large numbers. I can craft them at 99% at rank A so at least I am not wasting materials. The only problems are the sheer volume of materials (9 inv blocks per board, or 77 for 10) and the expense (each board is 15-20k in materials).
  
  The second method is cheap (each board costs 200-500g) but is tedious as hell. I've gotten boards at a 2-4% rate of return.
  
  The third method is good -- I pay 10k per board -- but is also very slow. Very few people sell them, and never more than a few at a time.
  
  The fourth method is slow, and would require a lot of MP10s or MP30 pots for me (Giant with firebolt). On the plus side I would also get XP and MP50 potions, but when I balloon I tend to prefer other rewards (fabric, herbs, and enchant scrolls).
  
  The fifth method would be the best. I farmed about 200-240 of them during the event last year, which I unfortunately sold for 3k each to someone. XD Well, that and the Finest Leathers I sold helped form the foundation of a friendship that has has benefited me as well in the year following. I just hope we get this event again, or another event with production materials as prizes.
  
  So, how do you get them, and why do you choose that method?

  If you get impatient, first method. If you have a lot of time and not much money, second method.

  I usually feed monkeys strawberries and berries or something.
  
  Can't remember. I fed them some random crap I had lying around and they gave me boards.

  TBH Hot-Air Ballooning is probably the fastest way to get Wood Boards, at least for anyone with a chain casting Fire Wand, high-ranked Firebolt, and decent skill at piloting a balloon while shooting. I use balloons all the time for regular exploration levels, so getting just about anything I want from Kelpie is no problem at all.
