  I've heard about senior years from my senior friends. It's hell enough at an average school in Australia, but doom at my school, or one of the Selective schools in New South Wales. I'm scared already :O
  My school doesn't get 'early days' unlike the large majority of other schools in the state. My sister gets home on a Thursday at 3:30PM and i get home at 4:50PM. srs. D< Seniors get free periods, of course, but not early days.

  Why? My school uniform is so BLARGHH.
  My sister's is so much better T.T (Tartan Blue pleated skirts, blouse, optional tie. Knee-high socks for the rebels.)
  My school's uniform is so ugleh. The junior uniform consists of a Brown tunic, blouse underneath, brown+gold jumper, optional blazer, optional tie, gryffindor-looking scarf, and folded down socks with brown shoes.
  Senior uniform is a little more pleasing to the eye: short brown skirt, blouse, blazer/jumper and optional tie. Socks and shoes as usual.
  The goody-two-shoes wear cute little satin bows in their hair.

  True in some ways, false in other ways. People fold the sleeves of the blouses, wear knee-high socks (but few get away with it), scrunch the jumper/blazer sleeves up, wear their hair in some way, wear make up (again, few get away with it), and i've seen situations wear someone has used a sewing machine and altered the uniform.
  Uniform protocols at my school are very strict compared to the protocols at my sister's school...or more like, the teachers at her school don't enforce it as much as my scho -OMG ENGLISH HEAD TEACHER! *fixes socks, blouses, jumpers*-

  I've never had it myself. It's considered a 'delicacy', and my Dad almost made me eat it on a cruise around Sydney Harbour, but i indignantly refused. Kanagroos are considered pests here, so culling and selling the meat isn't illegal. But then some people say it's degrading our own National Coat of Arms which consists of a Kangaroo and Emu holding up the arms.
