I'm more curious what they represent. Light and Darkness? Don't we already have something like that?
-

Pika pikachu.
(Pika'd say they represent peace and discord, but those are practically no different from Light and Darkness.)

As said before, its how 'it' can use Slash, and etc attacks. /sarcasm. Hell, they'll probably give 'it' a move only 'it' can learn, "Penetrate".

They both look like the same Pokemon... recolored.
yeah at first like at a distance I thought so too, and I thought nothing of it
I think they both look cool, but I like Zekrom better
if it's not "good/evil" the next best thing is, Order and Chaos o:

Something interesting for all of you to read:

** and I think we just figured out the plot here.
First question was, are these the English names? Operating under the premise that yes they are, I noted the last part of their names are similar, -ram and -rom. And then it hit me, RAM and ROM = computer speak.
** interjects with his operating theory about screens we have seen so far. Decay, abandoned construction sites, a cave filled with electricity, etc. Tie this in with RAM and ROM and we've concluded that the games are operating under the premise that technology has taken over...
Quote from **:
Lots of things I'm thinking right now.
The E3
A) Earliest announcement of a main series Pokemon game.
B) Cammie Dunaway of all people.
C) INFORMATION THAT HASN'T EVEN BEEN IN JAPAN YET.
A demo or presentation is almost impossible to reject as an idea at the moment.
The plot? See what *** said. The cave with electricity cave can possibly be discharge OR possibly even the humans new way of generating electricity.
Isshu is an isolated region set far apart from the rest of the PokeWorld. Major transportation methods are required, and we know that Hiun City is the hub city and port. It's overly flourished and urbanized, but the other places shown feature heavy decay or as if they've been neglected. There were even train tracks that look like they haven't seen use in a long time, but more modern forms of transportation are seen a lot in Hiun City. Like cars, scooters and cruise ships.
Our protagonists are older than ever before, which would almost be necessary for this type of plot centered around a digital era in Pokemon. Also, notice the devices on their wrists. There's barely no buttons, and the design is really like a lot of touch-only devices we have circulating now.
Quote from ****:
Obvious Devil/Angel motif is obvious.
Anyway, it seems that Zekrom seems more mechanical while Reshiram seems more natural.
And am I the only one that thinks Zekrom's tail looks like a jet engine?
Edit:
And Reshiram has a torch for a tail.
So I'm guessing Ancient/Future or Technology/Primitive
Quote from ***:
^ I agree completely with all of that.
Notice, also, the shapes of each of them. If you were to move them up against eachother you would find a perfect Yin and Yang effect. The art of these two Pokemon, with all of their dichotomous attributes being brought together, is truly ART imho. Major props to Sugimori on these two.
