Should the all year school systems be implemented?

  Wouldn't really workout be that good as you can take the cold much better than I can but you would turn very red in the heat and vise versa :D No contest.
  
  *Breaks out lab coat and diagrams* You see Germanic people are further North and they have adapted to it by having lighter skin and eye colour. These adaptions allow Germanic people to better thrive in the cold as their skin absorbs UV rays and they're more resistant to frost bite. However for people like me from Africa with our dark skin we are better adapted for warmer temperature as our skin deflects UV rays and our eyes our better suited to deal with the hot sun. The consequences of these adaptations are that Germanic people burn very easily in the sun and should have a higher chance of getting skin cancer while African people are more susceptible to the cold and are many times more likely then Germanic people to get frost bite.

  I had a friend in year-round School and she enjoyed it. But honestly? It depends on the student. The kids who actually pay attention in School and don't just attend for OMGZ I CAN BE WIT MI FRIENDZ would probably like it a lot more, given they /did/ have some breaks to compensate. Most kids? Lolyahright. Half, if not more of the students wouldn't probably ***** about it.
  
  It is also debatable in which schools it should be implanted; i.e. elementary, middle-school or highschool. Highschool would probably benefit from it a lot in order to prepare kids for College. Though, on the otherhand.. going from a constant stream of knowledge to another one might be too much to handle for some children.

  Summer Vacations due tend to cause a lapse in memory of what you learned as during that time, you aren't likely putting it to use.
  
  However, children do need more breaks unlike adults who do just fine with occasional vacations and weekends off.

If the primary purpose was to actually learn things (rather than pass the tests), we wouldn't have to review things with such intensity right before we take them. That's not to say that people don't learn things in school. It's just to say that we could be doing a much better job by changing our priorities around a bit.
  
  Why is it that most people 15 or older (maybe 18 or older now, hah) and can still remember at least 100 of the 150 Pokemon, but if asked to draw a map of the world and label it, we'd be screwed? There's no way most people could place 100 countries on a map.
  
  And it's not because the world is boring and these other things we remember so well are fun. The world is a very exciting place, and learning in general is a very fun thing to do. It's just shoved down our throats in such a way that it feels like it's both boring and tiring when people should be excited that they're going to school.
  
  I hope by the time I grow old, there's a massive reform of education.

  I agree. I've been saying for years that the American Education system needs to be reformed.
  
  Not sure if it's the teachers, the parents, the students, the school board, the government, or the Curriculum.
  
  There's a lot of factors in it. The only President I'd get excited about is one that promised lots of Education Reform and if I vote for that President...they better pull through.
  
  Either way, as is...our system sucks. You learn more simply by teaching yourself stuff or doing on the job training from my experience anyways. Most of what I know, I took the extra desire to actually learn more about the subject.

  There is also a lot of people who geniusly feel like the world map is boring and so their mind trim out that knowledge to replace it with things that are found interesting(or were found to be interesting)....

  Yeah, but we'd undoubtedly see a lot less of these people if we made the world seem as interesting as it actually is in the first place. I think if it was approached the right way, more people would begin to love learning. The internet's certainly helped out a lot, but I think even more can be done.
