I'm not really a Lann expert, but for my new characters, I always just focused on like Combat Mastery, their dodging/guarding skill and their smashes. Everything else was secondary.

So, thousand needle, ..that quick step thing, and sword/spear mastery?

not sword mastery, no.
Just do Thousand Needle, Slip Dash, and Combat mastery first I suppose

AP is infinite so it doesn't really matter if you screw up anyway. If you plan on using swords then just use all your AP on Slip Dash, but if you plan on going for Spears, just rank all your passive damage and stat skills until you actually get Fury Infusion.

I plan to go 100% spear, what should i be ranking in top priority order?

Just work on Combat and Smash Masteries, Critical Hit, Strength/AGI/Will Masteries, and Battle Respiration until you actually get your Spears. Once you get spears just work on Fury Infusion.
And max Gliding Fury as soon as you can. That's like 50% of your damage as a spear lann.

So stop ranking needle and don't bother ranking slip dash?
(sorry for being slow, i hate messing up builds in games even if its only like a day or so setback.)

Don't rank 1000 needles and slip dash. Rank up critical hit, gliding fury, fury infusion, smash mastery and battle respiration.

Some people prefer to strengthen their weaknesses and go for Paladin as a DPS character. If you want a tad bit more damage, go for DK though. It doesn't matter too much in the end since it's only 2 minutes out of an hours that you are transed, and since there are no bosses that bring about enough trouble for trans to be completely necessary.

Sure, that would be appreciated, i'm still playing mabinogi full time, vindi is just a side game.
