or, ITT: noob questions about money with a few general questions mixed in.
First off; 1. what constitutes being "rich"? In the literal sense, i've heard people saying that 10m+ is considered rich, others say that "2m+" is rich, et al. Theoretically, I imagine that being 'rich' would be when you have enough money to afford all your equips and live comfortably, so when is that in general?
In relation to that; I am a level 15 Evie, I am planning to go Scythe with Cloth armor. I own a Scarlet Witch Set that I bought for 30k and spent ~5k dyeing and so far i'm satisfied. As far as spending money goes, amidoingitrite? Apart from weapons, how much should I expect to spend? I imagine i'll want to buy a Rose Drop top and maybe a different hat and shoes. I guess I would want to upgrade and enchant stuff, but i'm so not getting into that right now.
2. How do people make money? Most of what i've made has come through quests, mostly the storyline ones [the ones that make you spam boats, amirite?]. I also sell the drops that I can buy from NPC's [but i've kept stuff like my Gnoll Leathers, etc].
I've run some non-quest related boats, and the gold is okay, but I can't imagine how people can have well over 1m in gold. I assume that higher/harder boats give loads more gold. [The AP is pretty pitiful, though.]
more random questions.
1. Can you de-rank skills? I ranked my Cloth Armor Mastery a bit higher than I wanted to. It's not that huge of a deal, but I was curious.
2. Is getting a Karok to level 20 worth it for the three dye ampoules? I got from level 8 to 15 in a matter of 2~4 hours on my Evie, so I can't imagine leveling to 20 to be too hard.
k that's all I feel like bothering y'awl with for now, gracias mucho ~
