PC and I just reinstalled quicktime, same thing happens.
I also don't use itunes at all so that link won't help phunkie

Try uninstalling and re-installing iTunes.
Apple Application support should is included with iTunes.

Not sure if you just redownloaded or just reinstalled it, but since it says it's corrupt maybe redownload it and then try to reinstall?

I did redownload it, the newest version seems to have a corrupt application support file

I apologize for not posting a solution, but I'm curious... why are you using QuickTime to begin with? What do you need it for, and can it just be avoided altogether?
QuickTime has had a horrible track record, and at the very least, used to be worse than Flash when it came to security holes. That's why no one really uses it anymore.
