This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. Try http://forum.nexon.net/Vindictus/forums/thread/6761114.aspx after you re-install mabinogi. The manual patch won't do you any good, and are you using the Setup.exe or the setuplight?

I used to have this problem all the time and then someone suggested I disable my firewall (using AVG) before I patch. I do that every time now and it works like a charm. But I get that error if I don't disable, so try that if your firewall isn't disabled yet.

Edit: Uh yeah super late edit but I suddenly remembered this. On my computer, the installer takes about 15-30 minutes (varies) to actually appear, so if you wait that long, it might work.
