This is a guide on how to solo the White Tyrant, or, Giant Polar Bear as some call it. 1. What you'll need: Absorb Shock (Very useful for this boss, but if you don't have it, this is not the guide for you)
HP Potions (16 of them is appropriate, even though if you do this right you'll only be needing 2 of them, or none, like me). Secondary Weapons (Spears or if you're a high enough level, use Light of Palala. *Note: Secondary Weapons are completely optional and are not NEEDED, just recommended).
2. How to dodge/Absorb Shock properly
If the White Tyrant were to use his Left Claw Attack, then either dodge right under the attack by rolling to the your right, or roll right into the attack activating Absorb Shock. (Which is the best choice because it will deal damage to the enemy, and heal you). If he were to use his Right Claw Attack, then roll to your left. (Right under the attack) You could also use Absorb Shock by rolling right into the attack, OR, there is a 3rd option.. A risky one, using the skill Clash is possible at this point, when he uses his Right Claw Attack. As for his Double Claw Attack, dodge the first one by rolling to your right, and the second by using Absorb Shock right into the second one, it's risky using Absorb Shock for both of the attacks because you might not pull the second Absorb Shock off in time. For his Triple Claw Attack, to predict when he will do this is by watching his paw movements, if he pulls his paw up and slams it into the ground, then he's going to do his Triple Claw Attack, to dodge to first one roll to your right, to dodge the second, roll directly away from the Tyrant, for the third, roll directly into it activating Absorb Shock. When he does a 180 to attack you when you're behind him, you simply roll right into it, activating Absorb Shock. (Applies for both his left and right 180 Attack).
3. When to attack
When he stands up on his hind legs and roars, it's a great chance to attack. (A good chance to pull off a Bison Charge followed by a nice Drop Kick).
When it quickly turns to his side and roars on all four feet, is a good chance to attack, not as good as the first though. (A good chance to pull off a Bison Charge).
Right after his Double Claw Attack, try to attack the front of his body, to avoid his famous 180 Attack. (A good chance to pull off 1-2 of Karoks powerful Normal Attacks).
Right after his Triple Claw Attack, try to attack the back or front back of him. (A good chance to pull of 1-2 Normal Attacks).
Right after his Left Claw Attack, attack the side of him. (A good chance to pull off 1-2 Normal Attacks).
Right after his Right Claw Attack, attack the side of him. (A good chance to pull off 1-2 Normal Attacks).
I hope this guide helps. Keep practicing, and you'll beat his ass for sure! :thumb:
