Heya, I was wondering if anyone knew a good laptop for college, I've been searching around but, alas, I fail epically at finding good laptops in my price range.
I'll be taking an Animation class and I was hoping someone had some suggestions for a laptop with these specifications and under 940$ USD. (Or up to 1k$. I'll be using my financial aid for it and after I get the rest of my software I'll have 1,200$ left over.)
# Intel® Pentium® 4 or AMD Athlon® 64 processor (Intel Core™ i3, i5, or i7 or AMD Phenom® II recommended); 64-bit support required
# 64-bit operating system required: Microsoft® Windows® 7
# 2GB of RAM
# 3GB of available hard-disk space plus 2GB of space for optional content; additional free space required during installation (cannot install on removable flash storage devices)
# 1280x800 display with OpenGL 2.0–compatible graphics card For Windows
Or,
# Multicore Intel® processor with 64-bit support
# Mac OS X v10.5.8 or v10.6
# 2GB of RAM
# 4GB of available hard-disk space plus 2GB of space for optional content; additional free space required during installation (cannot install on a volume that uses a case-sensitive file system or on removable flash storage devices)
# 1280x800 display with OpenGL 2.0–compatible graphics card For Mac.
I was thinking about the Dell Inspiron 15R. But, I'm not too sure if that'd be a good choice for my classes?
