Problem with foreign text

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. There seems to be a problem with foreign characters on the forums. As you can see in my signature, the top line (which is in Japanese) comes out with some question marks in the middle (which isn't supposed to happen). It's not the specific missing character (ã¯) because when I tried to shorten the text the question marks didn't move and covered up different characters instead. It's also not the font because it displays most of the characters fine, and I tried all the fonts anyways. I tried using quite a few languages that don't use roman letters and it seems that Chinese, Japanese, and Malaysian don't display properly (there may be more). It's not a huge problem but it's a bit of a nuisance, and there are some people that solely play foreign servers that may not be able to type their server names... :P

Oh yeah and here's the text in my sig, to show that it's not just in sigs

That is odd Dx I see it too.
The character encoding for the pages is utf-8 though, so this is why it's weird. utf-8 usually shows everything fine.

Really? This is weird lol... What browser do you use? I just tried Firefox, Chrome, and IE and it was the same for all 3 browsers except IE displayed boxes instead of ? marks o_o

Maybe you don't have the correct language pack?

I always update mine since I like to go to Jap sites and such.

No, my language packs are fine... I also frequent Japanese websites... and I just tried it on my iPod Touch since that has a million languages on it that are definitely functional and I got the same problem...
