It looks like he needs to use an item in his bag to activate that action. Looks a lot more safer than Golem Summoning because his body went into play dead mode. Looks fun, but I hope the item usage for the action isn't expensive

It's only limited to one mission, and only useable on fomors that are behind fallen alchemist's control.

And it's very safe since your character will be in play dead mode.

The Soul Crystals VANISH when you leave the mission
So once you pick them up. Use em or just drop em.

Using it is advisable.
Because fallen alchemists have much lesser health compared to these monsters.

You'll just be wasting your whole team's weapon durability if you don't.
