I was just wondering what you'd put on your Water Cylinder for Water Cannon damage and your Earth Cylinder if it's just for Barrier Spikes.

not sure for barrier spikes but i do know that waterdrop gives +5 water-based alch damage, and comes from neid. there's always shadow hunter too, which is just +10 damage if water cannon rank 1(?).

Don't forget about the Moist enchant. 10x repair cost, but +9 max damage if water cannon r5+ and +18 damage is water cannon r1. r6 prefix enchant.

I saw shadow hunter and how common that actually is, but I won't meet the requirements for all of it anytime soon sadly. =/
Moist was the prefix that caught my eye but what good suffix's go with it?
And as for the Earth Cylinder, if it's only purpose was barrier spikes, after upgrades come out, what enchant would you use? there's nothing to really modify your barriers either so then what would you guys think to enchant?

I think it'd depend on what you planned to accomplish in tandem with the barrier spikes. If you switch off the cylinder after setting them, then there's not even a point to enchanting it really.

Spike enchant with moist.
thats 37 max damage if you meet reqs. Add in r1 wc + R1 Raincasting + water Cylinder
35% Bonus with water cylinder and r1 raincasting going on.
136 max damage + 37 Max damage = 173 max
Put on some diamond raven 8 max boots for 14 more = 187 max (o.o)
Put on Corundrum Wild Boar Gaunts for 9 more =196 max (o.o)!
Put on a Wolf Hunter Wild boar tail cap for 9 more = 205 max (o.o)!!
Put on Cordundrum Wild Boar Access for 9 more = 214 Max (O.O)
Ancient Darkness for up to 27 more = 241 max (O.O)!
Shadow Hero title for +3 max damage = 244 max (O.O)!!
Stack x 5 (6.5)= 1586
Add in 35% bonus = 2141
Crit r1 = 5,352
Do that on a elemental enemy like firesprite??? 9-10k Crit.
7.5 seconds to load a 2141k/5.3k shot. Safely behind a barrier spike :D Cause thats how you roll.
If your an Alchemist consider this as long term goal.

Shoot forgot to put in Alchemy Mastery Bonus into damage equation. At rank 5 its 33% (we get rank 5 soon in g10)
1586 +68% bonus = 2,664
R1 Crit = 6,661
Those are a estimate. Not sure where the % are stacked or calculated. Figure it could be off between 100-200 at 5 stacks bonus damage.

Thanks for the input guys, I'ma try for moist spike.

I'd like to know this also...because what would be the purpose of such specific enchants like waterdrop, when spike or raven or even the darkness cylinders that drop...would add more "damage".
I'm guessing visible damage =/= alchemy damage
