  There's a reason why they're called Mighty Muggs (As in Mugg, not Mug).

  Muggs are roughly 6" in height and i mainly use Aves Apoxie 2-part sculpting clay since it has a nice ~3 hour work time and it air hardens so i don't have to bake the clay.
  
  as for paint, i like to use Delta Ceramcoat acrylic paint. it applies nice and smooth and dries within like 5-10 min (though a lot of the time i like to use a hair dryer to speed up the drying process to mere seconds^ ^;)

  This reminds me of the custom CoH character puppets someone on the CoH forums is producing.
