Ms. Gupta.
11th grade Math teacher.
She was amazing. During class, she was pretty strict. She would often keep us 5 to 10 minutes after the period ended when the class would misbehave (i.e. talk too much during her teaching or just be obnoxious). However, she was always a sweetheart when she wasn't teaching. Would laugh at all our jokes too.
Nice woman. And fantastic teacher. Taught me all I know about pre-calc. Trigonometry, exponential functions, complex numbers, etc.
I would always meow during her class and whenever I did, she'd look at me and I'd look at her, and she'd try sooo hard not to smile (since she was in strict mode), but sometimes, she would just cave in and laugh, and then everybody would laugh with us.
:XD:
I miss her. She became a principal at another school a few years after I graduated. I bet they all love her there. I wanna go visit her one of these days!
Anywho, describe your all-time favorite teacher or professor.
Why did you like him or her? GOGO.

Mr. Choate. IB Music, 12th grade.
He is insanely hilarious and laidback. He taught us everything we needed to know for our IB exam at the end of the year, and he helped us enormously with our musical investigations we had to do. I learned a great deal of music theory and history that I would never know otherwise. The funny thing is, I don't remember ever actually having a real class time.
He also teaches the variety of chorus classes at the high school, which win amazing awards every year.
He became the principal of another school in the district after I graduated, which made me sad. But he decided not to take the position, which was great, considering how much he does for the students.

Mr. Collins! He taught me some classes in grade 11 and 12, I think they were math and sciences. He was a new teacher fresh out of teachers' college when I was in grade 11. Awesome guy, and good at teaching.
He also founded the electric car racing club at our school. And I don't mean remote control toys--we built a 3-wheel car, powered by 4 wheelchair motors and 2 car batteries! I got to test drive it around the school track before the frame was fully complete.. which was super scary, yet super awesome. Sadly I couldn't attend the province-wide race, since it was on the same day as the grad trip. :(

fave profressor would be my Abnormal Psych teacher. Every single time he introduced a new drug he would teach us about, he would go, "Has anyone tried weed/cocaine/lsd/psilocybin/etc? Well, I have." And each time, the students would laugh.. he honestly did have first hand experience on nearly everything. He also told us the story of how the only reason he went to University was to hit on a girl, which he ended up marrying. He was pretty much a high-school dropout until then, because all he wanted to do was play guitar and do weed. What a role-model, eh? I'm gonna work in his lab just to help with his research.
he was rather eccentric too, would refuse to touch doorhandles and is afraid to shake hands with people without hand sanitizer because of bacteria due to his kidney transplant. He used this as a base to teach us about phobias and misconceptions, it really does help with learning.

Mrs. Burkhardt
She was simply amazing and is a friend of mine that I've kept after I had her class. She's accepting, open-minded, and completely innovative when it comes to teaching and creating relationships with students. I had a blast in her class and learned more than I thought was possible in English. She's the reason why my writing skills are better than what they use to be and why writing and Arts are one of my major interests.
She also helped with encouraging me to start pursuing my performing arts dream.
There's no doubt she's a major influence in who I am today.

My third grade teacher. You see I had those legs surgery when I was younger due to some problems, and if it wasn't for her I'd have needed to redo 2 whole school years. So I couldn't go to school after those surgeries for 2-3 months each time, but she would come home every day after classes to teach me/give the the work they had to do at school.
She was strict but you could see she really loved her job and cared about her student, which is pretty much the only teacher I had who was like that.

The worst examples are often the best. They are the ones who really got a grip of what they're talking about.

Oh my, only one teacher...
Aha! Ms. Kornfeld. 10th grade, AP Modern World History, and i'll have her again senior year for Gender Studies [yay!]
Okay, she's totally awesome. I loved that class because we actually learned tons of stuff, but we had fun too. She genuinely loves her job and she loved having us in class, even when we misbehaved [and we did that pretty often]. Class was really interesting, because we learned about current events, and we did a lot on the modern Middle East and the Holocaust, which not a lot of teachers will ever really talk about [her grandparents were from Poland and barely escaped the country during that time, so that was also interesting to hear about]. She was also hilarious and really kind too, one of those people who's really vocal and you can tell what their mood is like [happy] just by looking at them. she'd poke fun at herself for being awkward and she'd poke fun at us as well if we weren't listening to her lecture. ["OH MY GOD, NO WAY, NO SHE DI'INT, TEXT IT!!!"]. And finally, she was nice enough to let me into her class after it started [I switched in late-October/early-November from Honors level to AP], which a lot of teachers don't let you do, and she helped me out with some issues I dealt with this year and would always listen to me. That class was like a ray of sunshine in an otherwise really dull sophomore year.
Can't wait for Gender Studies, woo!

My highschool econ teacher, mr bills, is voted every year to be staff speaker for senior graduation. He's infinitely awesome.
Also, he looks 100% like Price from mabi.
He really cares about his students. Also, he has a lot of experience in just about... anything.
Most memorable moment: told us an epic story of how he encountered angry hungry bears while fishing with his friends. Involved was action, betrayal, and explosions.
During lock down drills teachers just locked the door and went on teaching like nothing was happening. Mr bills took it seriously. He barricaded the door with a large bookshelf and his desk. Picked up decorative bull horns from his wall. Told all the girl students to hide in the storage closet. And made all the guys pick up textbooks and said "if anyone gets through that door, all you boys throw your books at him as hard as you can. Then I'll charge him with my horns".
It was awesome.
