I couldn't say, I don’t think I've ever really watched either in any romantic way. I have a love/hate relationship with sunsets, from when I used to play tennis and how that in-between period where the sun falls is hell on the eyes in action; but it also means the start of night, which feels more like the start of day to me, though time’s lost easier at night. I like dusk I suppose, those rare times when the sky’s on fire and the temperature drops those few degrees to make everything more bearable in summer.
Sunrises are something I’ve always loathed; I’m not a morning person, since my bedtime is usually when most normal people are long asleep and there's also that "wondering who the **** you are on a Sunday morning†feel to it all. Everything feels more after two in the morning, and the intimacy of those shared moments where nothing is said is the best.

sunrise, only on the condition that I feel rested. Just the feel of potential, fresh, cool morning.. I do this a lot on vacation, because the beach is an amazing place to be in the morning when the sun has just risen.
sunset with a significant other, hands down. Although, I prefer stargazing.. very romantic.

Sunsets are perfect for me, since it signifies relaxing.
Sunrises are more like "Getting refreshed and waiting for work to start."

Sunsets. Reminds me that I've made it through another day in one piece. And that's something to be grateful for.
Plus, I'm a total night person. I come alive in the nighttime.

Sunsets, i prefer dusk over dawn. i am a night owl, so sunrise signals the end of my "day"

Moonrise. just a little after sunset. The glow of the sun fading in as the sky turn darker and darker and little lights appear in the sky one after another. The giant moon raising up into the deep black sky shining it's mystical light upon the dark land, Great Sun of the nopturnal people..

Sunrise, plox! I don't know if it's just a coincidence, but sunrises can produce some really pretty lighting effects with the clouds. Not the best one I've seen, but I've found this sitting on my phone:

I wish I had a real camera with me at the time!
Looks aside, early mornings are just fresh and I love that. The only exception is on days where I'm stuck at the computer until like 3AM in the morning. Sleep plz.

Sunrise, but I'm not a morning person. Seeing the sunset, especially when I'm washing dishes just symbolizes/gives me the feeling that the day is ending and I'm running out of time to do things, while sunrise is both beautiful and gives a slightly radiant feeling to everything.
It's nice to walk outside during the morning when it isn't too hot, it's nice and quiet for the most part and no bugs are around, but I suppose it depends on where you live and such.

I've certainly seen more sunsets than sunrises. I'd be tempted to say that I like them both equally, but then I've missed many sunsets simply because I was preoccupied with other things at the time. Contrarily, I've specifically woken up early at times (even on vacation) to take pictures of the sun rising. But then on the other hand, I've also missed many sunrises because I was "busy" sleeping.
Still...
My favorite picture I've ever taken is of a sunrise, where all the colors are vibrant and it's still dark enough at the top to still see stars. There's also nothing that beats the renewal of energy I feel, basking in the warmth of the morning sunlight. I choose sunrise.
