I dusted out my desktop earlier for the first time in a while, now on boot up, my monitor, mouse and keyboard don't work. Only thing I've tried so far is reseating the RAM, which did nothing. Also tried booting without RAM, and got the usual beeps from the mobo. Any ideas/solutions?

If you dusted your computer, chances are the ports got all dusty?
Just make suggestions, but thats probably not it.

Try a different monitor/keyboard/mouse.
Do you have a Graphics card on that computer? Is the monitor plugged into the correct port?

I do, and it's plugged into the correct port. A friend suggested I try to dust out my PSU, going to do that now.

Dusted, as in you opened the case and blew/vaccumed the dust out? How do you know the keyboard and mouse don't work? You mean none of the LEDs on the keyboard and the mouse's laser wouldn't turn on? What about the monitor? Does it give you a "no signal" indicator, or what? I'm not sure, but I'd guess that the motherboard's probably toast, or some strange power issue. It's unlikely that both the keyboard, mouse and monitor would die at the same time. O_o That, or maybe you accidentally unplugged something when you opened the case.

Yeah, none of the LEDs on keyboard come on, and laser on mouse doesn't come on either. Monitor gives no "no signal" indicator at all, it's just blank as if it were turned off. Maybe I did unplug something...

Looks like there's a problem with sending power to your devices. Are they USB or PS/2 plugged in?

A caseless PC where the motherboard is hung next to the air conditioning?
Asides from the potential dust and the accidental hitting, I don't see why thats a problem.
My dad never used a computer case either.
And when a friend and I put together a computer on a budget we ended up deciding to scrap the tower entirely and just put it all in a box.

Keyboard is PS/2 while mouse is USB.
