I dream often, whether it be nightmares or pleasant dreams. Recently I've been dreaming a LOT.
Multiple dreams, every night. Almost all of them are pleasant, so I tend to try to stay asleep once I fall asleep (which has me waking up late OTL). Its strange. Most of my dreams are my inspirations for my creativity though, so I'm not complaining at all.
Yesterday I had a very negative dream, but it was one of the most exciting ones too.
Details aren't clear. Its so easy for the details to be completely wiped off the mind once you wake up.
I was still a minor. I did something particularly wrong. I ran away, leaving everything behind, completely empty handed. Left what seemed to be a large mansion on top of a giant hill.
Assuming they would look for me on the main road down, I made my way to the side of the hill instead, and for some odd reason I ended up in McDonalds. I was going to get food, or something(?), when their TV screen suddenly turned into an announcement about me, and how I'm extremely wanted. I cursed, and booked it right out of the store.
I kept looking for places to hide, but everyone was against me.
Ended up going in to a large library. A HUGE library. Going through many halls, doors, elevators, I eventually reached a strange area that doesn't seem to rarely visited. Quite possibly never visited for years.
The entire walls, floor, ceiling were made of tanish-green fabric. The ceiling was just high enough for me to stand straight. Much of the fabric was ripped or stained, something I would naturally hate. The only one side was an idle woman, who sat in a old brown wooden chair in front of her table that seemed like a set for the chair, sipping tea. She didn't pay attention to me, nor did she seem to care that I was there. Also, there were a few cats, living independently in the area. They took a liking to me, and wasn't bothered by my presence at all either. For some reason, this place was the ultimate haven for me, a place where I could avoid the outside world. For a OCD neat freak like me, this place would be a natural disaster for me, but I could only be at complete peace. It was the best feeling I've ever had.
Shattered instantly by the sounds of my parent's voices. They found out I was nearby. How? Had to get out. Where do I go?
The dream ends.
What have I learned in this dream?
I really hate my parents. Its not their fault. Its mine, and I'm a douchebag for it. But that doesn't mean I have to like them. I've even been in such a huge fight with them once before that I moved out with nothing but 800 dollars and a shoddy factory job for half a year. I deal with them now only to have the benefit of living support and hopes of them helping pay college tuition.
Once its all over, I truly hope that I can sever all ties and completely vanish. Change locations, contact, and disappear. I'm sure they'll always want to know what I'm doing. What job I have. Who I'd get married to. If they're getting a grandson or a grand daughter.
Is it terrible of me to decide that they don't get to know these things?
I've wondered sometimes. Whats my greatest fear? Always thought they were heights or something. Turns out nothing scares me more than the thought of dealing with my parents. It scares me even more than I would hurt them to let them know I can't stand them.

On another note, also had a dream in the same night where I was slaying monsters as a member of an organization of exorcists in an amusement park. It was really epic shet.

Woah, I've noticed that I have been having quite a few dreams lately myself. I had one just last night, I can't really recall what happened.

I've had phases where i wanted to run away but i'm too stupid to support myself alone. =w=
I think it'd be really tough on your parents, though. To cut all ties and leave them not knowing what you've done in your life. But then, it's tough on you having to be with them. So it's kind of a lose-lose situation. O.e
I rarely dream. My sister gets fantastic dreams where she might be running away from a murderer with an axe. I don't even remember my latest dream. I'm a bad sleeper though...once i wake up in the middle of the night i can never get back to sleep. D<

My nightmares amuse me. For a while, I kept having nightmares every night, to the point where I didn't want to sleep anymore. But eventually I said "Heh. I wonder what horror my mind can think of this night?" And then they went away.
I think my dream that I had tonight involved me going back into the past and flying. Oh and I remember a store I was in exploded just as I got out. And then in another dream I was dancing around all these dead mice. Not cool.

I've had epic dreams too. I wanna say one! D:<
In this whole dream, I'm not in it, but it's like I'm watching it. It pans towards a mansion where there are many pale faced people. One stands out in particular because he has some strange aura around him. He's talking to a younger girl, judging by her looks I'd say she was about 13, and she was holding a little boy, I think he's a member of the family that lives there and she's just visiting. So as they're talking she puts the young boy down and he walks off to do whatever. As she talks to the strange aura man. She then calls him Trevor and he calls her Elise. After they exchange a few words, he soon gets down on one knee and proposes to her. She accepts and they hug and kiss a lot. Soon everyone in the room are clapping as she holds him close for a long while. The whole time I thought this dream was normal, but then I see Trevor has fangs. So it means he's a demon or something? Apparently, nobody else cares and I'd guess they know he's a demon anyway. Now it pans over to the younger boy as he opens a door. Soon Elise screams his name, Gary, and she runs and grabs him. She soon runs towards the front door but two shadows block the door as Trevor slashes at them with a katana sword. Elise holding Gary falls down and she just sits as Trevor defeats countless enemies. Soon, on the last one, he gets injured but is able to defeat the thing. He falls to the ground and blood just gushes from him. A small stone falls out and lands next to Gary. Gary picks it up and holds it as Elise kneels down next to Trevor and cries a little. He soon holds her face and tells her that one day he will return in some other form. Soon, he shatters into a million pieces and disappears. She falls over and cries loudly. Gary is then seen with that same stone and he swallows it. I dunno why, but he swallowed it.
Then, it skips forward and shows a teenage boy holding a sword with fangs and the same sword as Trevor. I thought it was him, but soon Elise runs over and calls him Gary. He was sword training and I guess she was watching. Soon she walks away and heads toward a cave. She mutters out the cave of 3 wishing women and soon sits down in one room. She sits and soon sees a shadow coming through. It looks a LOT like Trevor and she then begins to tear up. Because she's crying softly, she can't notice that it isn't Trevor but someone else all dressed up. Oh, I think she grew up a lot too, she may be an adult due to her breasts being way larger. Soon, she's raped and as left there. We then get a shot of Gary in his room, no lights on but a crack from the door. Soon, Elise comes in and cries on his shoulder as he comforts her and she tells him what happened. Soon, he is panic-stricken and we see it was GARY, who raped her.
Then my dream ends.
I loved it.

For some reason, I don't ever remember a dream where I am never in it. And when you remember a dream, you can probably remember it for life. When I was in kindergarten, there was nap time (The BEST time of all) and I once had this dream. The world seemed to be ending and I had to fight an unknown enemy. During the dream, I always run away from danger. In the end I got so fed up of it, and I suddenly became in a mecha, like gundam. While the countdown was beginning, I realized I was dreaming, so I tried to do lot's of stuff and try to force myself to wake up. That was the most awesome dream I had. I got another I might wanna share but this is a effing wall of text ._.

Didn't read any other post, so humor me if I repeat something.
I read somewhere that you only remember dreams if you wake up in the middle of them. Maybe the reason you think you're having so many dreams is simply because you're waking up in the middle of them and more often throughout the night.
