  Ignorant does not mean stupid, intelligence is the measure of the ability of an individual to grasp certain concepts. Just because someone is not educated does not mean they are stupid as stupidity is the unwillingness or being unable to grasp certain simple concepts. ...not even sure where I am going with this but I'll try to keep to point.
  
  Intelligence is comprised of genetic ability and motivation to achieve...damn lost my point again. Sorry I can't relay my point in a coherent manner so If you get offended by a misunderstanding I apologize.

  and iirc.. being poor is correlated with lower IQ, but that doesn't mean it's causal. And they tend to have more kids, more abortions, more teen pregnancies.. beh

  There will always be conflicts between different groups of people, but I highly doubt we're gonna revert back to slavery or those segregation days, with white people as the "new" blacks.
  
  As a population, we get smarter with every new generation, and less closed-minded too. Surely you've noticed this.

  He was saying the poor were uneducated and couldn't afford proper contraception and/or abortions, and without proper education couldn't discern that they shouldn't **** so much without protection. That goes for idiots as well.
  
  And well, a child with multiple siblings in a poor home that goes to poor schools and can't afford college generally has little choices in life. We're trying to make that better, but even then, it's hard for those not genetically gifted with intelligence and an ability for learning to get much of anywhere in life except a dead end job.
  
  With hard work and dedication, nearly anyone can. But, most people lack that drive, especially when the environment they grew up in didn't necessarily nurture that, and instill such beliefs in them. Instead, many may end up getting jobs as soon as possible to help support their families.
  
  Perhaps such isn't as prevalent in the US, but in less well off countries, it certainly is.
  
  Oh and, I don't think he meant anything about race, as per intelligence.
  
  As for me, I think prejudice, racism, and hate, will continue on for some time to come. Sadly, it's human nature. Just as war, violence and crime will continue for generations to come.
  
  Perhaps, some day... But, I fear that day will be too far off, and we will bring about our own destruction before that day comes.

  east turkey is more asian orient, west is middle eastern/european; I'm a mix of both -.-; I'm pale skinned though, it's easier to just call myself caucasian.
  
  and yea.. there have also been studies of african american's underperforming when they're reminded of something like stereotypes either consciously or subconsciously. It's kind of depressing.

  Also, this really doesn't help America at all. From what I've seen in most parts, we're still just getting more and more segregated for some reason. People are crowding in cities based on their nationality/race. I really wish we all became the ideal American nation that everyone initially envisioned, where people from all over the world can live together mixed in fair saturation.

  hmm.. I do have relatives who read and speak arabic, but none of them identify themselves as such. It's derived.. probably only because of their close proximity to anatolia at the time. And yea, you're right, those are old influences tho.
  same thing happened with europeans, greeks.. it's a mixing pot, but they originated from asia?
  
  very mixed. Still don't know what to tell people when they ask me my ethnicity.

  Yes, the child birth rate is lower in white families nowadays because most of them of class and intelligence wait until they're financially well off before making babies.
