It's coming out in a week, so now it's time to share your opinions. Now, from looking at those videos, it seems that the atmosphere is taking a 180. So it started off creepy, then a bit gory then to a bit more emotional and now this! I'm not sure if I'm the only one here, but I hope that this is a trap. I really don't want it to be a Yaoi fest. Also, what's that stuff that they're feeding to each other?
The loyal fans want classic Higurashi, not this. Of fudge you Deen! Also, look at Umineko, I thought one person was a girl when they were a guy, then said "Oh wait, Deen can't properly size a girl's chest!". And now Umineko may not get a second season, so I'm scared.

Just look at the Umineko characters, you'll see what I mean about sizing mistakes.

It just turned into a dating-sim anime?? What??! I can't help but to feel that Japan is sending subliminal messages.
Well, I feel that the best season of Higurashi was the first one, when you're left with no answers. At that point it's a true horror anime. Afterwards everything makes sense and it's not much horror anymore.

I think Higurashi Kai did a good job in making it a horror anime. The first one was a little bit random when I watched it, but Higurashi Kai really helped me understand it, what is what I enjoyed. Then Rei came along, the first episode was messed up, but the rest were good. But for Kira, I'd like to see them wrap up the Satoshi stuff, they still have to rescue him, so if he comes in at random I'll be angry.

Fixed.
Back on topic though, I really hope Higurashi is more than just a yaoi thing, I want to watch them solve the Satoshi mystery, figure out what to do with Takano and play punishment games.

Well, there's Higurashi Rei but it's only five episodes, it's worth watching though in my opinion, though the first of the season is a bit random.

FFFF.
Where is the blood? Where is the children stabbing each other to death and going crazy? What is this even?
Gog this isn't even Higurashi.
Oh well, I'm a major Higurashi fan so I'll watch this anyways, as long as there's not a lot of Yaoi everywhere :3

Yeah, I hope to see some stuff too, even if there's no blood I wanna see punishment games that aren't Yaoi.

Remember everybody, absolutely do not judge Umineko by it's anime. It's almost on the same level as the Tsukihime anime, but longer.
While I'm always up for more Higurashi, its starting to feel a bit milked with this.
