I was just thinking of some things to help out Spear Lann a bit. Although I feel that all Lanns are completely viable, as long as they possess the skill to play their role, Spear Lann feels too difficult to me, compared to other classes (this is my opinion, if your's differs, so be it).
My first idea is a base attack speed increase. Lann's fully geared, enchanted and enhanced attack speed stays the same by modifications of item stats, but either fury infusion grants attack speed or spears have innate attack speed. This is to help out the survivability of spear lanns who are just bringing their way into the current content and lack any enhancement, enchants or good items.
My second suggestion is, admittedly, very unbalanced. I propose that fury infusion's rank 8-6 increase ATT and Crit very slightly, but also reduce heath consumption by a large amount, up to 100% at rank 6. This would mean Fury infusion will be free of health cost at rank 6. I have no idea how this would impact Spear Lann, but it is to be considered for discussion.
The most common proposition is a learnable skill for Spear Lann's dodge roll, increasing range, reducing stamina cost, etc. This seems the most viable solution to me, but seems fairly plain and does not protect Lann with invulnerability frames, but I suppose that is the whole theme of spear lann anyway.
My final suggestion is that Spear lann's furies ignore collision with enemies, like scythe evie blinks. This would allow lann to glide through bosses if stuck in a corner, or just give lann the ability to take more advantage of small opportunities.
