Maybe you guys can help me with this.
I'm looking for an inexpensive, but not unreliable and cheap, brand of headphones. Preferably the kind that goes over your ears, not in, maybe a headset, but if not that's cool. Can anyone recommend something like this? I only have like $15 for spending at the moment, is there something I can get with this money that won't break easily? If not please recommend the closest thing to it and I'll get more money, thanks in advance!

logitechs, or at least the pair I have work well. My only complaint is that the foam around the mic has come off completely (today actually) but I've had em for like 2 years so they lasted me a while. Input quality is average, output quality is between mehhhh and below average.

It's hard to say. The thing that tends to break in headphones first is the cable, from my experience. My Logitech headset lasted a year, while I was very careful with it and used it only for my PC. :( I would not buy Logitech.
At $25, they're over your budget, but I'd go with the
Sony MDR-V150. Maybe you can find them for cheaper elsewhere. The sound quality is decent, but the main thing to note is that the wires are pretty thick. Helps with the durability a lot, it seems, as my brother had these for about 4 years now. And they have survived active use this whole time, with many trips etc. >_o

The cable on mine is very sturdy, about 2mm. Unless your pet goes and chews on it I don't see how it could break. I expect the speakers or the mic cable to break next honestly. But a word of warning logitech sells some VERY cheaply made headsets. The practically fall apart in your hands. You'r pretty much gonna have to pay 15-20$ to get a decent one from logitech. I paid 20$ for mine.
Edit: on further research mine are apparently so old that they no longer sell them. Which might explain why they are actually durable.

unfortunately, the thing about headphones is that there's no good middle ground between pricing and quality
it's either those cheap dollar skull candies or something fancy

Skull Candies are like $20...
I recommend the Plantronics GameCom closed ear headset.
$24.84 at Amazon. Really great quality headset, IMO. Relatively inexpensive, and sounds great.
I would advise avoiding Logitech, as I've had one before, and it broke within a month or two. The cord on the volume control became damaged on the inside, and I am very careful with my electronics.

Tell me about it, those are the kind I had. They break fast because the wires are so thin, I think. I'm very careful. First I stop hearing in one ear, which I can live with, and today it wasn't working at all.
Thanks guys, I ended up getting a Logitech headset for $20 (were supposed to be $25 but they were on sale, the sale ended today, the day my earbuds broke). I wish I could have gotten something better but I don't have that much money, maybe next time. They are way better than what I had before, just hope it lasts long.

Well, if they do break, look for the Plantronics GameCom. :D

I always heard those were the best in-ear ones you would get for like $20.

My skullcandy earbuds lasted me 4 or so months before they broke, not good but not bad either for earbuds o.o
I would go with yoorah's recommendation of Sony MDR-V150 they're durable with good quality if you can find $10 to add to your budget

I use to pick up random headphones for $5-10 and they would last me no less than 2 years, usually breaking by the cables going out. I drop them, run over the cables on accident with a chair, and generally don't take any special care of them. How rough are people being for them to break so easily? <__<
Anyway, I don't know a thing about good headphones under 15 bucks, so I can't help much here. It might be worth going up to at least $25-30 if you're concerned about them lasting.
