Randomly disconnected from the internet

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. For some random reasons, my ISP, at&t, disconnects me from internet.

When it does disconnect, my browser gives me "could not find DNS server" error.

Am I getting these errors because I stream futurama episodes? I read on mabination about news that at&t and other ISP are working against pirating or something.

I've been having that DNS problem too. I changed my DNSs to the google DNSs, but it didn't change much. I heard avast screws with your internet too, but I switched to avira and I still occasionally get the same disconnecting.

But try a clean install of your antivirus and try changing your DNSs to the google ones.
