Well i did what the guy said in this guide and changed my mtu to 200
http://www.elitepvpers.com/forum/mabinogi-hacks-bots-cheats-exploits/448739-guide-simple-lag-fix.html
This method is much more simple and efficient, as it can be definitely performed without restarting your computer and with a simple command line entering. Make sure you are at the mabinogi login screen already, then find cmd.exe through the search option in your start bar or by going to all programs -> accessories -> command prompt. Make sure to right click and select "run as administrator" first. Now that you have it open, there are two differences in the command you enter depending on whether your connection is wired or wireless.

Spoiler:
netsh interface ipv4 set subinterface "Local Area Connection" mtu=(enter in any number from 1499 to 48 here) store=(either active, which will keep the mtu value until next boot, or persistent if you want to keep the value for every boot. Make sure to use active with anything below around 368, as they aren't recommended settings when trying to connection to your connection upon boot. Make sure there isn't a space between the value and the =)
But now my computer runs to slow and i just wanna make it go back to normal. do i just have to put in the command and put mtu to 0 or is there another way to fix it

Do the same and set the MTU back to 1500, if you want the default. 200 made your CPU overload with packets to process, I guess.

if you're on a DSL type of thing set it to 1492, 1500 for anything else.
