We also need sexuality icons, because sometimes people use the transgender one and I don't know if they're really transgender or not and they say that they're gay/bisexual and I can't tell their actual gender then! So, does anyone else agree with this?
Edit - What I mean mostly is, is that I am kinda irritated about how people sometimes aren't honest, and then mislead me into say he when they are a she and the other way around. I feel that the transgender icon isn't being use properly.

I think the feature is pointless since not many use it seriously. Adding onto it would only make it worse.

Uh.. sexuality has nothing to do with sex (our icons are sex, not gender. Gender is masculine, feminine, neutral and any mixture of the two). You know that, right?
If you want to know someone's sexuality, just look in the sexuality thread in Rua's House.

I think a sexuality icon is silly and pointless. If you're interested in a person enough to know his/her sexuality, then just ask.

The main reason we got the icons was so we could say he or she or him or her. But with the transgender option, it makes it all pointless. You should pick what you want to be referred as.. It should just be removed if anything.

Some people are proud to be transgender. I myself refuse to use the male icon until I actually have my male outer appearance. Being a certain sex internally is one thing, but it's a whole nother thing when you still have the opposite sex as your outer appearance.
I don't like how people misuse it either, but you get my point.

Exactly, it bugs be how people would simply use the transgender icon when they aren't actually.

Yeah, that much I can understand. I usually don't expect much on the Internet to be treated seriously, but-- c'mon. People don't need to use the transgender icon if they want to be mysterious. That's what not using an icon at all is for. *rolls eyes*

I understand. But what I'm trying to say is that if you want to be seen and called a she / her, then use the female icon. That's why it was made. Picking the transgender just makes the icon pointless.
If you were to go out in public and someone asked if you were female or male and you said transgender, how would they refer to you other than by your name?

Transgender one is useless in helping me figure out whether to say he or she. Just sayin.

I don't find this necessary. Plus, there's already a thread on it, as Cynic posted.

It would be cool if we had a feature in which you could hover over the icon and it would say which sex you really are.
You know; transgender, but male. Vice versa.
In respect to those who are transgender and in transition.

Hey, I'm not allowed to view these threads for some reason, I've heard of Rua's House, but I can't actually find it on the sitemap. Is there a reason for this?
