5 years ago, they give an awesome Kirby Wii trailor.
We haven't had a new kirby game in forever...
Anyone know what the hell Hals Laboratory is up to these days?

I came into this thread, googled HAL Laboratory, found nothing, watched video, got distracted by related videos.

If Hal does make a new Kirby game, I hope it plays out like a mix between classic kirby and the space emissary mode from smash bros brawl. There is a chance they might announce something at this year's E3 since they have occasionally hinted about a kirby wii game for some time now, but I can't say for sure if the game is even in development or scrapped.

Looks like Brawl ate that Kirby game and gained the Adventure Mode ability.

HAL, scrapping a Kirby game? It'll never happen. It'd be like Nintendo scrapping a Zelda game. It may undergo severe revisions but no Kirby game will ever really die before being released. Pink puffball power ftw!

That game was originally announced for the Gamecube if I'm not mistaken. They're into a new generation and they still aren't done...

There are so many different ways to do this.
1. Stand on the ledge where the cutter thrower dude is after he is dead to the left and press down a few times.
2. Fly back and forth between the screens.
3. Lose the ability and follow it to the left.

Well, for all we know, the next kirby game may not look any thing like the gamecube trailer did when it first came out. I do agree that the chances of that hapenning are pretty slim given the number of indications that would suggest otherwise, however it can still happen.

Adventure 3 had a very similar system.
In fact, 64 is technically a remake of Adventure 3. The gameplay and the bosses are almost identical.
The Cut + Stone ability in 64 was a reference to all the partners in Adventure 3.

Like 64, each stage had hidden objectives (in 64 it would be to collect 3 shards), which can only be accomplished by doing some ridiculous task or using a VERY specific ability combined with the partners.
