So this one CSM (customer service manager) at my work is out to get me. Granted, she only works nights <insert sigh of relief> but on the days I close....ugh. So last week I was over at garden pushing carts and all that jazz, my friend texted me saying the CSM was looking for me so I said I was over at garden. Then my other friend texted me saying CSM's coming ruuuun!. So I went back inside and took garden's returns up, and got stuck helping a customer. So I walked the customer to the item and then walked back up front to put the returns at the courtesy desk. The CSM then asked me where I was....
CSM: Where were you?
Me: Over at garden... why?
CSM: I've been looking for you for the past 10 minutes.
Me: Well I was over at garden.
CSM: Well did the Assistant Manager talk to you?
Me: No....
CSM: Just go relieve the cashier people greeting for her break
Me: Ok no problem.
25 minutes later I get pulled into the front office. Basically what happened is I'm too friendly, I'm too social, even though "ima good guy to be around/talk to/hang out with/etc" though I need to stay focused on carts.
1) It's slow as fuuuuck
2) Carts are filled
3) No returns to do
So that basically leaves me with hopping on register and checking out customers while talking to the other ones in-between.
Then about an hour later, I was back on people greeting (we had nobody there after 3pm >:l). The CSM wanted me to do returns but customers came in to return items and since I have/know how to do the express refund (that lil sticker you get when you return items) I went over and signed into the gemini.
CSM: Can you do returns, since you have nothing else to do?
Me: Sure. *walks over to courtesy desk and watches the people come in*
*proceeds to sign into gemini*
CSM: What are you doing?
Me: Signing into the gemini so I can do the express refund.
CSM: No I want you to do returns.
Me: Ok I will after I'm done the express refunds.
CSM: No! I want you to do returns now!
Me: I will when I am finished.
*CSM walks away*
If your gonna be a CSM shouldn't you know company policy? The express refund isn't optional, it's mandatory for the people greeters to do. If they don't keep up with it they get so much ****.
Then today, I asked the CSM2 (that hates me as well) if I could go on break, she let me. So off I go to garden center to hang out with my friends on their break. Well CSM comes out on her break and says "Oh this is where your hiding?" I told her "No, I'm on my break. I told CSM2 I was going. I got like 2 minutes." She stays to herself this time.
An hour later, I'm over at garden pushing carts again. Go inside, read some silly lil book about being judged by god, then see a customer waiting in the other line so I logon to the register and check em out. CSM on the other hand is watching me outside while she's on her 7th break. (You only get 2 fifteen's and an hour for lunch if you work enough). So obviously off to a grrrrreat start.
I go back up to the front and she comes up to me again.
CSM: Where were you?
Me: Over at garden.
CSM: What was that book you were reading?
Me: Some silly thing about god
CSM: Oh, well did Assistant Manager2 talk to you?
Me: No...
CSM: Well since it's not busy do you wanna do returns?
Me: Sure thats fine.
Apparently both CSM's freaked out cause they couldn't find me for 5 minutes. Seriously... garden needs carts too. Like you obviously didn't look hard enough. And CSM2 decided to bring it up with the Assistant Manager2 and my friend told me that both CSM's were pissed.
Anyway, I never did returns. I just went outside and got every single walmart cart out of the corrals and put em either inside or on the curbs (where we keep the extra ones). It took me over an hour and I clocked out 15 minutes late but
To the lil birdie complaining I don't do a good job... go look in the parking lot and tell me how good of a job I did. Quit sucking the happiness outta people, and complain now. Love Brad ♥
