If you saw a baby alone in a car on a hot summer day, would you do something or just keep walking?
It's easy to say
"OH YEAH I'D STEP UP 100%"
but in actuality it's not always the case

Honestly
Since cars are alarmed
See if i can find a officer nearby
If not call the police
If i cant do either well
Tough luck baby

Wait around to see if anyone come for the new few minutes.
If nothing, call police.

Well babies can die withing minutes in 65 degree temperatures
experts say you're supposed to go on the other side of the car and break the window to get the baby out if momma or daddy isn't around

people wouldn't act if it was a crowded parking lot due to diffusion of responsibility
I don't know what I would do, though, I certainly don't have the strength to beak the window.

I would get a brick or something heavy and break the window, I would take the baby in an raise it to scare children.
In all seriousness though, I broke your window, is that a problem?
Oh, well you shouldn't leave your baby in a car oven.

Well first of all I probably wouldn't notice, because I hardly notice with adults in parked cars unless I'm actually looking at the cars and pay attention. I often get startled by a car door opening just a second after I walked by it.
If I somehow did notice I'd not do much other than call the 911 and tell them what's up. I wouldn't break the window because this is north america and they would probably successfully sue for damages even if I saved their babies life.

America: the place where you get sued for saving someone's life.
it's the reason my brother wouldn't do CPR or heimlich on someone even as a past lifeguard.

They probably didn't care much for the baby anyway to leave it alone in a car

1. Call 911
2. Smash the windows open
3. Bring baby out
It only takes minutes before a car becomes an oven in a summer day, even if its not very hot out.

Well, if the parents were stupid enough to leave their baby in the car, maybe it wasn't meant to live.

Call 911 and let them take care of it.

this may seem cruel, but i probably wouldn't do anything. maybe i'd wait around a few minutes to see if anyone comes back, but i'm not going to haul off and smash someone's window open because i don't approve of what they're doing.
if it seems like the baby is near-death or doesn't look very good, i'll probably alert someone nearby, but i probably wouldn't go out of my way to play the hero or anything.

Probably nothing.
I don't go looking into other people's cars in the first place.
