I don't remember who, but someone said that the prosecutors spent too much time trying to convict her of murder, but didn't even think to get her for lying to the police.
Yeah, man.
The lying is just too much.
IMO, here in America, you have to literally have PROOF to catch someone of something.
For example:
I raped you? Where's the semen? It doesn't matter if you are bruised and your vagina is bruised. It doesn't matter if the cameras caught me going into your apartment that night and leaving at early hours. Etc., etc.
Like, you'd think that you could put two and two together and safely assume... okay, this man broke into this woman's house, her genitals are forcibly bruised and she's going through emotional trauma. Okay, she was raped.
But yeah, I dunno. It's complicated.
