  LoL is a simple game, but because of its competitive nature, you need some practice and do a good amount of research before you're good at it.

  Its a very cheap Diablo clone that is probably the most popular of its kind at the moment (until Diablo 3 comes out and blows it away, anyways)

  But its boring as hell if you're not doing multiplayer.
  
  The level editor makes the game really fun to play.

  Has FF elements and you can get a high level to do everything for you 8D. That way you will never grind your way trough some "Pro only" boss =/ . 15 gigs in size :O

  Grindfest, but they have an auto-attack system where you can level while afking. You can also buy character cards from players (Veterans and such), which will allow you to power level your characters.

  I started to play it with an ex of mine... But it was so much like WoW I couldn't stand it. Its not that bad, its just kind of annoying.

  Can be a grindfest, but its rather fun. You do however need to look up when you should set your birthday (So you can optimize your character).

  
  WonderKing looks very much like a MS clone. I'll probably try this game out when as a last resort.
  
  Sword of The New World - This game is awesome. I played beta but I quit after people were making families of the same classes which just kills the gameplay. Also not the best social game at all.
  
  4Story - I'm not looking for a game that is exactly like WoW so I'll probably just stay away from this one. If I wanted to play a game that was like WoW I'd play a WoW Private Server.
  
  Ether Saga - Hmm grindfest I don't know I'll give this a try as a last resort too.

  Its pretty easy, the game is quite straightforward, telling you want you need to do...ect. theres even an item that tells you where to get all your quests that you get right away. 1 character can be all the classes but they level up separately, you can combine certain skills into any class for an odd combination of skills.
  
  hell, theres even the event newbie kit that gives out free items every 5 levels or so. Things like pets and recovery items.
  
  And theres flying. Its mostly used for transportation.

  So I heard people behind Defense of the ancients(I know it's a Warcraft 3 mod) made this game...Or so I heard so is this a strategy game? How does online work? Is it just a 1 versus 1 type of thing?

  I'm not really a big fan on Final Fantasy more a Dragon Quest person myself.
  I'll give this game a try though I heard it's really addicting from some people on whats now a dead IRC chat.
