I went to go check my customer support tickets (and btw, maintenance ended early :thumb:) and saw that my old ticket from 12/16/09 had been manually closed by a GM.
I had mentioned that old ticket in one of my newer ones, since it was obviously not going to get any attention. However, my new tickets were still marked as "open" and waiting for a reply.
I thought they just sucked and never looked at the tickets, but now it seems like they read them and then just put them aside for when they feel like it.
/loses a bit of faith :T_T:
Either that or there's a statute of limitations on tickets after 5 months and 16 days...

They read them, do nothing, and close them when they think you've forgotten.
I noticed yesterday that all the ones I had fill out for various security issues that I told them about were all closed, and no response to all but one, and that was copypasta.

I remember on maplestory I reported a crashed channel and I got a copy/pasted reply telling me to check my graphic card drivers.
At the time I knew it was bad but after that I lost all hope.

The thing is, that ticket had been left open all this time. It was only this week - after I submitted a new ticket with more or less the same contents, and a reference to the old one - that a GM decided to close it.
Yet they didn't address my problem in the new ticket either. :stress:

*cough* If i may...
Nexon actually read my ticket about the item loss and the crash of channel 2 in late May, and even returned the items (although they weren't the exact items...) that i had lost, meaning they actually do read them and respond in a manner favorable to the player.

But there's so few such cases.
I've had proper responses to tickets once in a blue moon as well. But 95% of my tickets are either auto closed after weeks/months with no reply, or replied to in a 'reasonable' time frame (few days to couple of weeks) with copy/pasted bullcrap that does not in any way help.
For every "good" ticket story someone posts on a forum out of happiness, there's probably 50 more disappointed people who were replied to with copy pasted nonsense.

I guess I got lucky...?
Probably not, since i have horrible luck with pages or enchanting success rates :gloom:

Haha, I logged a ticket over 2 months ago and its status is just "report received," no response or anything.
Plus when MS had the wedding glitch, I logged several tickets over the span of 7 or 8 months, and I know plenty of people logged tickets with the same issue. The wedding glitch wasn't solved until two years later.
you call that good customer service? <_<
