Who here plays TF2?

  Okay. After watching tons of TF2 videos on youtube. I liked it enough to finally go ahead and download and play it.
  
  OMG! Why didn't I play this sooner! It's so addicting! Even if my team is losing. So many choices! So many classes! The voices! The Characters! :blood:
  
  Capture the Flag, Capture the Control Points, Payload, King of the Hill. All of them are fun.
  
  So who here plays Team Fortress 2? Steam Name is RuneOfYukari.

  General tips:
  1. When no one plays as a medic, be a medic. This rule also applies if there's only one medic in a 12 vs. 12 or higher.
  2. Play on clan servers. Not valve servers. They generally have better people.
  3. Play every class and learn to play them. Good pub players should be able to play decent with every class. Hence helping rule #1
  4. In addition to tip 3.
  Understand the roles of classes when you need to switch to help your team's class composition (this is assuming the class has vanilla/original weapons)
  
  *Power Class, they are the bulkiest and deal good damage. Highest heal priority and should be ubered. Need like 2-6 (they are limited by how many medics there are)
  -Soldier, great long range and splash dmg. also make people fly
  -Heavy, great for pushing and absorbing dmg.
  
  *Medic
  always need at least one, in 9v9 or higher there should be 2. 12 v 12 and higher at least 3.
  
  *Demoman, More than one
  Most invaluable class to have on a team... but a lot of people play demoman anyway

  Utility, every other class.
  Engie: holding back the other team from a control point.
  Spy: taking down sentries and backstabbing medic heavy combos. Then killing distracted people
  Sniper: Area denial, and killing priority targets like medics. This is assuming you rarely miss any kind of headshot.
  Pyro: spy check + killing distracted people
  Scout: Glass cannon but great for killing.
  
  5. Original weapons are the best weapons in most situations.
  different weapons depend on your personal preferences and playstyle.

  Well I've been pretty good at adapting to different classes.
  
  Most of the time if I'm doing defense I'll go with Engineer if there isn't many of them so that I can build mah sentries. I managed to help do a shutout a couple times with Mah Sentries.
  
  As long as dem spies don't be sappin my sentries!
  
  For CTF, I tend to go with Scout or Spy. Depending on how heavy the Sentry defenses are.
  
  I also have abused Dispensers with Heavy for area denial where I just stand there and blast away non stop
  
  I've also gotten in a lot of kills as pyro and burned a few spies.
  
  As for the other classes, I have some experience with them and touched upon them a bit.
