Question: Should I care about Bleach again?
Question: Should I care about Bleach again?
Juuust saying, just saying~
Of course he can read it, itsnotlikethecurrentarcmakesnosenseatalloranything. :3
But oh well, I know I can't stop reading that damn thing anyway.
Silly Kubo, he should launch a clothing trend with that art design.
According to what the plot is saying, each one of those FullBringers Is. Freaking. Stronger. Than. Aizen! They said that Ichigo's powers were almost at the same level as before he lost them...........Wait, what?! He got his arse kicked, even though his powers were like when he beat Aizen?! Those FullBringers must be true Pimps!
I read that and was quite shocked, too. I really think it was just a misconception, or bad translation; whatever.
I mean, come on. There's no way any of those guys are even close to Aizen's powers. And whatever they plan is, if each of they were as strong as Ichigo/Aizen on the last arc, then there would be no reason for that Tsukishima guy to involve himself with the other group anyway. He'd either kill them all, or finish the plan by himself, since Aizen was already plotting in destroying SS.
I think they were probably referring to Ichigo's powers coming back:

You see, he says that Ichigo's powers have become closer to his previous reached one. But he doesn't really specify when or how, so it can either be related to the fact that he had power at all before. Not on the fight against Aizen, it could be anywhere.
If more than anything I was surprised by the fact that he can realize Ichigo's power on that scene, which means that he knew about Ichigo since he was a Shinigami.
Inb4 another Aizen-like villain going on how he knew about Ichigo since birth, hurrr
Your power, right now...it's become so much closer to the heights your previous powers reached.
I read that and was quite shocked, too. I really think it was just a misconception, or bad translation; whatever.
Have not read Bleach in ages, but I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that there's probably nothing wrong with the conception or translation--in other words, Kubo's ignoring details. Why? Because it's happened before.
Flash backwards to the Soul Society arc for a moment. Let us all remember a giant halberd that took on the form of a phoenix, one meant to execute one Kuchiki Rukia. Let us also recall one Kurosaki Ichigo who repelled said halberd, inspiring the awe of all onlookers, because no one could ever have been thought to accomplish such a thing according to the reactions of those observers. This implies that Ichigo is extremely strong, right?
Now, let us fast forward a bit, into all the arcs that happened after Soul Society, and I do mean all, where every. Single. Person was holding back their true power. Against enemies that were clearly besting Ichigo or giving him trouble. Now, this would be a non-issue (and would admittedly just be chalked up as bad writing) if the majority of them had these levels of power after some training post-Soul Society arc, but we're often led to believe that for whatever reason, they've been restraining themselves since the Soul Society arc and even longer than that. So, Style-Over-Substance Kubo has ultimately screwed up his power level system again, opting to go for his usual romp through meh twists seasoned with tons of "Kurosaki-kun."
In short, I'd say do not [s]adjust your TV set[/s] question the translation. Question Kubo's continuing consistency issues instead.
