  One of my favorite animes gets a season 3. Please go watch season 1 & 2, as they are all absolutely good and tear-jerking as this season also. Thread gets updated every Monday or Tuesday when new episode are released.

  For as long as he can remember, Takashi Natsume has been cursed by the ability to see spirits, a power inherited from his grandmother Reiko. Upon her death, Reiko bequeaths to her grandson her Book of Friends, a book containing the names of spirits Reiko had bullied into servitude. The Book of Friends is a highly prized item in the spirit world, and spirits hound Takashi constantly. Whereas Reiko formed the contracts, however, Takashi spends his time dissolving the contracts and releasing the various spirits that come to him for help. But that doesn't mean there aren't malicious spirits trying to kill him. Which is where Madara (called Nyanko-sensei by Natsume) comes in; Madara serves as Natsume's bodyguard and spiritual advisor of sorts, even though he is motivated by his own desire to possess the Book of Friends. He later on begins to become more attached to Takashi.

  Nobody I knows watch it either, but it doesn't matter because they are missing out on a really good anime. Season 2 was amazing and there were a few tear-jerking episodes that I remember. I wish more people saw it and felt the same way I do when I watch every episode. I recommended this anime at my anime club in school and nobody really voted for it. I was so disappointed.

  I like this show, I really do. However, this is one of those shows that I watch more for entertainment than plot. The plot is nice, but the episodes can get sort of repetitive, but not to the point where the show is boring.
  I like this show, but it's not one of those shows I'd be crazy over xD;

  Added Episode 5 stream. DDL coming soon when Commie releases subs. However, I might be switching it to Hatsuyuki Subs since they are much better.

  It has a bit funny parts, involving Natsume and Nyanko-sensei. However, it's not a comedy anime so it doesn't focus on being funny. It's more of a slice-of-life/supernatural anime.

  Added episode 6. Natori makes a return and someone is taking the youkai's blood for an evil spell. Suspected Matoba does seem indeed evil. Waiting for Natsume to finally be able to start fighting back without Nyan-ko sensei. Reiko was strong, but she usually tricks youkai into giving their name to her.

  Added episode 7. Good episode Nyanko-sensei was going to rip Matoba apart. Never saw him that angry.

  Added episode 8. Little fox boy returns! Kogitsune waits for Natsume every time the train comes, in hopes of seeing Natsume again. It's been a year and Natsume goes with his father to a pottery class. Natsume plans to find a special kind of herb that can help heal Nyanko-sensei's wounds. Kogitsune wants to do something special for Natsume and tries to find it for him. Hinoe also makes a return in this episode! Overall, it is a good episode that has a season 1 feel to it, but most likely it is a filler. Next episode has a school festival!
