I think that applies to poetry or writings like: "My mother is a fish," in Faulker's As I Lay Dying, for example. This sentence is one whole chapter. Both confusing and nonsensical, but random and witty! (Maybe the character was drunk, I forget.)
Hilarious.
I appreciate that.
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!
I loved
As I Lay Dying! :T_T:
*Calms down*
Anyway, your analogy was really interesting. If emotionally expressing yourself via writing works for you, then by all means go for it ^^
I, at the very least, enjoyed your poem. (Not that I take pleasure in other people's pain mind you.)
I hope you feel better about what happened between your friend soon.
P.S
The character who said "My mother is a fish" was not drunk. He was a 12-year-old mentally retarded boy that could not comprehend the meaning of death. His only experience with death was when he caught fish. Hence, when his mom died, he metaphorically compared her to a fish. (Since she wasn't
moving)
Kinda sad when you think about it. :sigh:
When you thought the character was drunk when he said "My mother is a fish", you were probably thinking of Faulker- the author. Faulker is infamous for writing his works drunk :XD:

Doing it wrong.
When feeling emo, you go buy a new zombie game, a bunch of cookies, ice cream, sweet foods, etc, and blast your life out for about 8 straight hours.
Now there's an idea
:tea:
also I just rant to a very close friend, do yoga or something else that helps me relax. I dislike poetry :(

Wow, thank you. :)
I really appreciated your response out of all of the other ones. haha And you were the only one who wished me good luck with my friend situation. Thank you so much.
I recently woke up, so I feels tons better than last night. I hope things do work out.
Oh and thanks for the correction. I had forgotten he was mentally retarded. Good book though.

Eh as much as i hate admitting it most days, I do a great deal of writing. While it's evident in my posts my grammar is utter crap, writing is just one of my "things" that i have always done.
Honestly if someone seriously hurts me first i go and beat the pulp out of my punching bag or actually show my face at my old dojo for awhile. Then i come home grab my guitar and usually turn it into a song. Thank god for hard rock or i'd be a goner, lol. Man I miss my band >.<. I usually end up just playing guitar and crap for awhile after too.
That doesn't happen very often though. most things I just go beat on something, come home, and i'm fine. My ex was muse to some good **** though, lol. After 5 years of bliss crap just kind of hit the fan. Ah well.

When I'm feeling emo I cut myself, your all doing it wrong D:< /jk
I've had to end a long friendship with one of my (ex)bestfriends and it was nasty. Too much drama, just try and stay outta the drama. .__.

My friend's a good person though. We just can't settle this one difference.
I'm sorry you've all had bad experiences like that with bad people.
Beating punching bags sounds like one heckload of fun though. :)

If you can't settle it then can't you move on from it? Unless it's that major....?

Sparring is more fun though. Also throwing guitars at people (Oh god if I had the money I'd be a male Haruko DX).

Anyone can bs poetry, like what I did for english final yesterday.
But it's too hard to make a good one, like back then.
And making a Sonnet, is the worst.
