  I can never mix my foods together.
  
  Let's say I have a cheeseburger. I cannot eat the burger as a whole burger. I have to eat each part separately. Bun/toppings and condiments, patties, then the other bun. It's strange. If it's something I can't take apart, like a steak mac and cheese, and a potato, I eat each part on it's own. My mom thinks I'm strange for doing it.

  What is sad is that both my Mom adore it, and it's sort of tradition amongst our family. I remember when my Großtante came to visit, she offered to make her special version of kartoffelsalat (potato salad). Ugh. I couldn't speak enough German to tell her that I didn't eat nor like it, so I instead smiled and ate it very, very slowly until she was satisfied and walked away. She was so happy, I didn't have the heart to tell her otherwise.

  My hate for it stems out of my babysitter force feeding me it repeatedly. She'd make me sit there and finish it all when I hated it, then when I finally would finish she'd place MORE of it on my plate and force me all over again. I loathe it. It makes me gag to look at it or even smell it.
