It pisses me off so much when people are hypocrites. It's the end of the world if I do something, but when they do same thing, if not worse, then it's Christmas to them and everyone else.
People should stop trying to control me, I'm not a damn puppet, and if you're still going to do it, then at least have the decency to not make yourself look like a hypocrite. I've just about had it..
/end rant.

I agree with you 100% I hate those situations when someone does the same thing as you, but when you did it it was horrible.

It's so stupid. If they're going to praise the other person, at least don't do it in front of me, because that just makes me think bad of them.

seems like you need to go vent somewhere/talk to somebody.
OT: Sometimes, acting like a hypocrite is unavoidable. But, when it isn't, doing it is just wrong, wrong, wrong.
But...it's situational. You have to put yourself into the shoes of the person who's "being" a hypocrite.
Also, what your perceive as hypocrisy isn't always such. Depends on how you see the person in question. (i.e if you like them/know them well or they always come off in a bad way to you)

People tend to do that simply because they are douches and hate you. I cannot recall the number of times during which I personally have done something and been condemned for it, yet another person will do the exact same thing and get nothing for it. Sometimes even PRAISED for it.
Really, people are retarded.

Being a hypocrite is situational. Sometimes being a hypocrite is annoying and stupid. Other times, the circumstances that determine what someone did was bad or good don't apply to the hypocrite.
However, it seems in your situation, it's the first kind. So **** em.

Never meet me.
I am probably the biggest hypocrite you'll ever meet.

If you mean by "get nothing for it" you mean "don't get mouthed off at" then I suppose you are right. Though it really just depends on who does it.
Such as when a popular kid at a school decides that a new drink is awesome, so the other kids drink it. But when a kid who isn't as popular drinks it, the other kids scold or make fun of them.

I find if I stop caring if "they" are being hypocrites or not, I rage a whole lot less.

OP: Have you told the person that you believe they are being hypocritical?
It's not always easy to see when you are being hypocritical, so I make a habit of pointing it out to people when I see it, and would hope they'd do the same for me. At least it would give a chance for them to realize their own behavior or to explain themselves.
Well, if you weren't a hypocrite, then holding this opinion wouldn't make you a hypocrite.
Even if you were a hypocrite and hated yourself, then while you are still a hypocrite for other reasons, it's not because you hate other hypocrites.
We've probably all been hypocrites before with full to no acknowledgement of our hypocrisy. A person condemning you for doing this or that would not condemn him/herself for doing the same because he/she most likely believes that the circumstances are different. You know, merely pointing out the hypocrisy of one's actions would make the said person left with not much to say.

I think that's more of being a douche more so than being a hypocrite.
A hypocrite is okay, but a malicious hypocrite has to go.
