The cat liked the gamecube animal animal
but the cat stopped because it was too demanding
seriously, it takes a long time to get the full upgrades for your house in that game
are turnips in this animal crossing?

I have it for when my brother or my cousins are over, but have never played it.
They seem to like it, but they're like 10-12.

Pika discovered the best lazy way of making bells in animal crossing is mass planting foreign town fruit, selling them all to Nook, then spamming days into the future until the fruit regrows to sell again for profit. Or you can be like the hardcore players who obsess over "OMG MY GAME MUST BE PLAYED IN REAL TIME WITHOUT TIME TRAVELING" and do fishing. Fishing - Pure Boredom.
There's also that one harvest festival event where you have to play hide and seek with the turkey and he gives you furniture that sells for 6,666 bells each (And is repeatable). Pika just cut down most of the trees in town (The turkey thing always hides behind a tree) so Pika would just spam that for easy profit.
In my honest opinion, the game isn't as great as the DS one (The House is basically near the same as GC one. Wild World Mansion > City Folk Home D:< ) and the only redeeming features are online auctions (Must not be a time traveler to participate in), ability to get haircuts very early in-game, and the HR place that lets you see other people's homes. Gracie Grace's store is overpriced your sack, and who gives a crap about shoe polishing. At the very least, at least, you get to see Mr. Resetti's home. (Pika hasn't checked out Crazy Red's store yet. Never played enough since Pika found the game to be a disappointment and too much work to put into.)

I love it, but I can never play it because my mom is always watching Netflix on my Wii.
Anyway if you can enjoy small details, like a funny line of text or an item, and you don't mind spending about 20 min every day or two, the game is extremely rewarding. Though you do have to be patient. It can take awhile to get all the house upgrades and such.
I liked it a lot more than Brawl; Basically it's my favorite game on the Wii.

This sequel does seem to be lacking
the cat easily think of ideas for improving it like including the DS mansion but you have the option of living by yourself or with other characters

It's basically the DS version but mixed with the GC version. A lot of the items and events that were missing from the DS version have been brought back.

But the DS Version practically had the best player home in the game :<
Would have made more sense to keep the Mansion then replace with Semi-improved GC Houses.
