Fiona Tips?

I've only played fiona till level 27. However I hear its best at solo'ing non raid missions. I can solo but i am terrible at it. I use a hammer and sometimes go back to sword but my main issue is blocking. I try to block at right times but sometimes the bosses are just weird at attacking. Basically i just want to know good tips on getting better at fiona. I know what skills to upgrade and such but its more the gameplay that i need to learn better. So yeah...any tips?

A lot of it is boss pattern recognition. Most people have lots of trouble on their first few runs. Most "skill" involved in playing this game is really just brute force memorization, so just give it a time while rerunning missions.

Get hit a lot? Once you learn to differentiate a smash from a non-smash, your blocking issues go away. Vindictus is mostly memorization/skill based, so you must practice.
