I was thinking of trying DFO, but it looks kinda stupid.

IT IS NOT STUPID. It's so fun. Especially the PvP. Get to level 20/25, play pvp. You'll get HOOKED

D'you mean like, a continuous game (maplestory, mabinogi, runescape etcetc)? Or an arcade type (pacman.. Any game on Nitrome)? Or what?

Runescape fits your requirements perfectly. It doesnt rely on fast internet, and is online. What else could you want?

DFO would be a fun game if SP resets weren't 25 dollars.
The game was meant to be a build experimentation type. KR server charged 8 dollars for an SP reset so you could screw around with tons of different types of builds.
DFO on the other hand... 25 dollars... ridiculous.

Just Atlantica online.
Duels or w/e don't need uber fast internet and you will still be okay with a crappy connection.
