it is my personal opinion that the death sentence should be imposed on more things (of course case given i.e. 1st time offender who feels absolutely awful and vows to never do again will get jail time/severe beating, but in cases like this where they feel no remorse for their actions and actually encourage it should have their throats slit), i dont believe at all in being lenient on a lot of the crimes. the laws are imposed and you KNOW they are, therefore you should have to deal with the consequences of your actions. it is in my personal opinion that the justice system today is too lenient.
That's not under the principles our country was built upon. Nor would any of that qualify as "law."
America was created to be held to a higher standard. As such we've chosen to respect life as a very precious thing, that will only be taken in the worst possible situations.
Now while I can agree that the law is not a perfect or balanced thing, going that harsh would accomplish nothing, not to mention what other parts of the country would be shaped in a similar manner, probably ruining everything we have.
Not to mention that violence is something, that as long as it exists, there will be no peace. Not to say there could ever be REAL full peace, but as to say that if we did not employ such violence and harshness, it would bring more peace, and less anarchy, which is what we have accomplished in America (If you'd compare to other countries.)

See.. the thing I have against those who oppose the death penalty and torture against those who deserve it is; so.. even if they throw away their rights by raping, abusing, and perhaps even killing children.. they still deserve fair treatment?
The law system against these people is redundant. They get put in maximum security prisons where they are untouched by any other prisoners, meaning their only punishment is time in prison.
Is this just compared to what these children have to go through? No.
I bet'cha if these people raped and sexually harassed your child, you would want them dead.
To me; we are all born with the right to live.
But if you do something like this, you've long since thrown away your right to live. And to be treated decently.

Oh right, my PERSONAL opinion, is people who have issues, I.E. they enjoy doing such a thing, feel compelled to, constantly do it. Those are the ones who forfeit their life, to either imprisonment or death.

Not if they're in maximum security, sadly :/ or pretty any place besides public prison. Apparently it's "immoral to let other prisoners hurt eachother".
@ Oki; oh, well, I'm glad then. I respect the sacredness of human life.. but I would honestly facepalm through my hand if someone thought they still deserved all their rights as a human after doing such things to other people.

Hmm... I think I've heard of this place before. I don't remember that name though so I might confuse it with some other site.
Was this a TOR-service?
It'd be interesting to know how they managed to pull this one off anyway. Doesn't sound like one of those embarassing operations from the years before.

Just saw this and made me think about this issue.
lmao
SPOILERED.

Nonetheless, it's crazy. My friend told me about some unsearchable part of the internet where pedophiles gather and post child porn. The "darknet" or whatever it's called. NUTS.

And here I used to think 4chan was part of that.
Now its just goatse and child porn.
Two things that, no matter how much porn passes the monitor of my computer, shall never molest it.....or my eyes for that matter.

They call it deep web, from what I've read is more than just pedo's galore though. Not a place you'll want to see.

Yeah that's a pretty weird way to describe darknets, I think that would be a better description of e.g. child pornographic TOR-services. Then again it's not strictly unsearchable (
albeit you won't find much outside the confines of the TOR network, and the little you find will be references).
But I haven't done anything with darknets yet so I don't really have a clue how they would exactly use this to organise and how widespread it is.
Come to think of it, it's
extremely improbable it was a TOR-service. Maybe a Usenet group? :what: They're dying away anyway though, and only rehashing the same stuff for years now (
said my reliable source).

Yeah, I doubt it was a TOR-Service or Freenet-Service because as far as I am aware it's virtually impossible to identify people on those things and no one has ever been found through it.

Yeah it's a logistical nightmare, though theoretically possible, with a bit of luck.
You could go and upload malignant data though, or provide a link to malignant data on the regular internet (think a video with a trojan downloadable on filesharing sites), but even so it would only catch those too stupid to really use it as it's ridiculously easy to avoid. And even so identifying individuals doesn't mean identifying and being able to shut down a circle.
Hmmmmm.
I think I do remember reading its name somewhere earlier anyway.
-
Spike wrote on 2011-08-06 12:56
Yeahhh, or just putting malignant data in for example a pdf file that sends your non-anonymous data to the feds. But I doubt that if someone uses tor or freenet for those sick sites that they'd be stupid enough to do that.
Imagine if there was actually a way to roll up and identify and arrest all the people on those deepweb sites. You'd see "100 people busted for cp" every day in the newspapers.

Wow this is really really sick. It's one thing falling in love with a minor. Raping the poor child until it's in distress or worse aka abuse. Is just plain wrong and sick. I hope the prisoners kill the bastards.
