Anyone else just get this email from SE? - Order of the Blue Gartr
Did this ever happen to Nexon? owo
Don't say Blizzard doesn't have problems like this,
the cat is sure that Blizzard doesn't do something drastic and just give gold to people's accounts discreetly after finishing the problem.

Hmmm.... I used to play FFXI.
I say good job on their part.
Even if something like this ever happened to Nexon, which of course probably has, I've never heard of something like this being announced.
*Snoops around past announcements and archives*

Password reset nonsense a few months back might have been nexon's way of covering up such a thing.

This has happened to Nexon, and can still happen to Nexon. They just don't fix the problems till everyone gets hacked.

Eh, weren't they suppose to shut XI down sooner or later or something? I mean XIV is coming out...

People still like XI, it would be stupid to get rid of it if there are people playing still.

There was some database leak in Nexon a few months back. I think that was aimed at Maplestory players though.

Tell that to Microsoft shutting down the first Xbox Live game servers, and trying to convince people to logout of Halo 2 so that the servers can go down permanently.

Microsoft is idiotic though.
Final Fantasy XI still makes money, otherwise they'd have begun a campaign to abandon it before they announced the release of a new MMO.

Only reason I know that XI servers are going to stay up is because XIV is "supposed" to be a different game.
