Last week I saw a handwritten sign on my bus saying:
"Wristbands are not allowed. Any found on the bus will be taken and returned at the end of the day."
I asked my bus driver why, but he said he didn't know, that someone taped it up there :what:
Then yesterday I found out that during this dance at the high school that girls were buying them from someone. The teachers were fine with this until they asked a student why they were wearing them, and they said:
"Oh, each color is a different sex move you're willing to do"
:srsly?:
Way to broadcast to the world that you're a whore.

The bands they were selling were different enough to know what it meant, I'm guessing they made them by themselves :what:

Quote from About.com:
There was nothing controversial about them until school administrators in Marion County, Florida banned the bracelets in 2003 after a few students divulged their "secret meaning" to adults. Some parents were outraged to learn that their children were apparently sending explicit sexual messages to one another by donning different-colored bracelets; others expressed outrage at the ban itself, contending that their kids wore the items as a fashion statement and nothing more.

Then no white and black :what:

My sister told me they're banned in the middle school now too.
Along with um....Silly bands.
All silly bands are are rubberbands shaped like things (i.e. dinosaurs).
The shag bracelets (as they're called) is understandable, but...Sillybands? Really?

I heard of a school somewhere that has all the students nekkid while in the school (saw a documentary about it maybe 10+ years ago) D:
I don't remember where or when but the more they ban things the closer to that we'll be.
It's a pedo conspiracy.
