Spear (Shift) not working

  Lately, after running out of spears, buying some spears on the boat, and then adding the spears to my quickslot Shift, I have not been able to activate them...for some reason. Holding down shift does not seem to work, on boat and in dungeon. But the weird part is that inside dungeons, whenever I press on F12 to advance, my guy would suddenly throw a spear out of nowhere. Can anyone please help?
  PS. I'm using keyboard mode, and the Shift button on my keyboard does not have any problems whatsoever.

  I have the same exact problem on Vindictus. I have no idea. I have so many skills that require pressing shift, but I cannot use them. Also, if I wanted to change shift for some other key in options, I cannot do so.
