ultimatemegax, a known fan-translator who translated the bonus novel that came with The Surprise of Haruhi Suzumiya had just finished translating both volumes of the main novels. The Surprise of Haruhi Suzumiya came as two volumes, volume 10 and 11 starting from chapters 4 to 9 (read The Dissociation of Haruhi Suzuimya (9th volume) for chapters 1-3). The story continues from the cliffhanger in The Dissociation of Haruhi Suzumiya. So check the link to his blog below for the translations! (including the bonus novel).

(if the link is taken down from his site, ask me for the novels in PDF format).

I have a question before I delve into the spoiler heaven of these light novels. Do you think the Haruhi movie closed the series out or will they continue to anime the series? Because if they're not animating the rest of the series, I've reading all the light novels. ALL OF THEM.

Whether or not they do, you should still read all 11. Lots of amazing stuff not in the anime.
But I doubt they will. Too much content to animate.

Chances on Haurhi movie are low. Aya Hirano has been banned from voice acting any new Animes other than ones that are currently airing (Fairy Tail, Nurarihyon no Mago, etc) and ones that were already set for her (Kizumonogatari, etc). It'd be really weird to just give someone else such a well known/popular role.

Paul is right. No new Haruhi anytime soon. However, they will not close the series with the Disappearance movie. Following the correct timeline from the novels, Kyon still has unfinished business (and that is telling Mikuru to take him back to the past to save himself from Asakura). Also, the novels after Disappearance are actually really good that I would love to see animated. While you wait for a new Haruhi anime, who knows when, I recommend just to get your Haruhi fill by reading all of the novels. Like AsterSelene said, a lot of the good stuff is not in the anime. If you do need all the novels, just PM me. I have them all and I've been thinking about re-reading them.
